About the role
Our client is seeking motivated and experienced Registered Midwives to join a supportive maternity team across multiple full-time and part-time positions.
In this role, you will provide safe, evidence-based and woman-centred care while supporting women and their families throughout their maternity journey. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of clinical care, communication and patient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based midwifery care
- Providing compassionate and individualised support to women and their families
- Working collaboratively with obstetricians, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining high standards of patient care and customer service
- Promoting patient and staff safety
- Supporting a positive and professional maternity care environment
- Ensuring care is delivered in line with relevant policies and national healthcare standards
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Midwife
- A minimum of ONE year of post-graduate midwifery experience
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care
- A commitment to safe practice and continuous quality improvement
- Knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach
