About the role
Our client is seeking motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join a close-knit and supportive Cardiac Catheterisation Lab team on a full-time or part-time basis.
In this role, you will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care while assisting with a range of cardiac and vascular procedures, including coronary angiograms, pacemaker procedures and other interventional services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care
- Assisting the Cath Lab team with coronary angiograms, pacemaker procedures, vascular procedures and other interventions
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care
- Contributing to quality improvement and safety management initiatives
- Supporting the delivery of positive clinical outcomes
- Acting as a role model for safe clinical practice
- Maintaining high standards of patient care, communication and customer service
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of TWO years’ clinical experience within a Cardiac Catheterisation Lab setting
- A current Working with Children Check
- Knowledge of and compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- The ability to work effectively within a high-performing team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- A commitment to continuous improvement and safe clinical practice
Highly desirable qualifications include:
- A Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiac Care, or currently working towards one
- A current Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate
