About the role

Our client is seeking motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join a close-knit and supportive Cardiac Catheterisation Lab team on a full-time or part-time basis.

In this role, you will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care while assisting with a range of cardiac and vascular procedures, including coronary angiograms, pacemaker procedures and other interventional services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care
  • Assisting the Cath Lab team with coronary angiograms, pacemaker procedures, vascular procedures and other interventions
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care
  • Contributing to quality improvement and safety management initiatives
  • Supporting the delivery of positive clinical outcomes
  • Acting as a role model for safe clinical practice
  • Maintaining high standards of patient care, communication and customer service

 

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of TWO years’ clinical experience within a Cardiac Catheterisation Lab setting
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Knowledge of and compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach
  • The ability to work effectively within a high-performing team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and safe clinical practice

Highly desirable qualifications include:

  • A Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiac Care, or currently working towards one
  • A current Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate
