Job Description

About the Role:

  • Deliver high quality, patient centred physiotherapy services within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment.
  • Ability to independently manage clinical caseload, providing evidence-based assessment, treatment, discharge planning, and care coordination to support optimal patient outcomes and service flow.
  • Triages referrals, develops and facilitates therapy programs, and contributes to effective service delivery within available resources.
  • Supports the professional development of colleagues and students through supervision, mentoring, and peer collaboration, while actively participating in in quality improvement initiatives and service development aligned with best practice.
  • Possesses strong communication, efficient time management, and accurate clinical documentation, alongside ongoing professional development and adherence to organisational standards.
  • Maintain a high standard of clinical care and contribute to a positive, collaboratice team culture.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's of Exercise Physiology with ESSA registration as an accredited Exercise Physiologist, OR
  • Bachelor's of Physiotherapy with AHPRA registration
  • Ability to work autonomously, but critically as part of the team
  • Is a good communicator with their team and patients
  • Has strong insight, reflective practice and problem-solving skills
  • Appropriate clinical knowledge and expertise (relevant experience working in a rehabilitation setting or equivalent)
  • Previous experience providing Cancer Rehabilitation is desirable
  • Willingness to learn
  • Willingness to support and supervise students
  • Understand the principles of rehabilitation
