Job Description

We are looking for Registered Nurses for our Middle East's client hospitals in Saudi Arabia. If you’re itching to travel, this is your chance to work on short-term contract basis for facilities that are world famous in the global health care industry.

About the Position:

  • Responsible for providing age-appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by the regulatory body.

About The Role & Responsibilities:

  • Providing total, direct nursing care in accordance with the plan of care and needs of the patients with respect for the patient's privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture.
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol and delivering a high level of patient care.
  • Identifying significant changes in patient conditions, initiates appropriate action and reports to immediate supervisor or physician as appropriate.
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and other relevant information in the patients' health care records on an ongoing basis.
  • Interacting with the patient and their family to update them on a plan of care that is consistent with the medical diagnosis and based on the patient's changing physical, psychosocial and age-related requirements.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with the organisational policies and procedures in collaboration with infection prevention and control department, patient safety department and other support personnel.

Requirements:

  • Australia or New Zealand passport holders
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse from country of origin
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (diploma or certificate equivalent is not accepted due to licensing requirements)
  • Minimum 24 months experience in an acute hospital setting in related specialty
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic with a passion for delivering high quality of care
